VINTAGE DIAMOND WEDDING BAND WITH WHITE GOLD AND A GOLDEN STORY | U2053

VINTAGE DIAMOND WEDDING BAND WITH WHITE GOLD AND A GOLDEN STORY | U2053

$995.00

THE HISTORY OF THIS STUNNING WEDDING BAND: I see a great many pre-owned items in my San Diego showroom. In fact, I buy thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry every week. Still, even with that much happening I find myself stunned sometimes by the beauty of an item that comes in. This wedding band did that for me. I loved the design right away, with the five round diamonds immediately catching the light and the beautiful white gold shining the way it did. I guessed it was from the 1960s, and the gentleman who brought it in told me I was right. The band had belonged to his mother and he’d inherited it just a few years back. He told me the wedding band almost never happened! His father was a soldier and he was accidentally listed among the casualties in Vietnam. When his tour ended and he showed up, his fiancé fainted! Thankfully, the story had a happily ever after to it. The two were wed and remained married for the rest of their lives, more than thirty-eight years. He told me his mother said the five diamonds were important because a husband and wife should forgive each other five times for anything. When he asked her what happened on a sixth time, she told him to follow the band all the way around to the start of the diamonds and forgive five times again! I thought that was wonderful advice and I was more than happy to buy this ring. Now, I’m happy to make it available to a new couple who will enjoy the symbolism and have a long, happy marriage filled with love, joy, and forgiveness. VIDEO OF THE RING: https://youtu.be/SodOmxbflfU THE SPECIFICS: This ladies’ vintage diamond wedding band (circa 1960s) is crafted from 14k white gold and weighs 3.10 grams. The five round natural diamonds have 0.20 carats total weight. All diamonds are graded SI1 clarity and G/H color. The ring is size 6 ¼ and can be resized prior to shipment. Your ring comes with an appraisal performed by a GIA Accredited Jewelry Professional. You have probably heard of the GIA. It’s the Gemological Institute of America. They developed the “Four C’s” and GIA Certified Diamonds are very popular. Your appraisal will include a description of the materials used, the quality, and the retail replacement value of $1,900.00 2053-950
