I got married in December to someone I had been dating since April... I know, not my best idea. I was manipulated into having a quick wedding because his grandmother was sick. I sold my house, switched jobs, moved, and then was blindsided by his real personality. His personality did a 180 turn the day of the wedding. Life went from extravagant dates and lots of laughing/love to my own personal hell... Fast forward 4 months, I moved out, filed for divorce, and just signed the divorce papers on Friday! The ring is absolutely gorgeous, and while marriage didn't work for me, I really hope it gets put to good use. It is the last thing attached to the marriage that I haven't gotten rid of, so selling it will be a relief for me. :)
