My grandmother had an eye for jewelry, so when my grandfather, a jeweler, took her to the New York World's Fair in 1940 and saw how much she admired it, he immediately purchased this beautiful bracelet as a gift for her. When my grandmother passed away, it was given to my mother, and later given to me when my mother passed away. It has been very carefully taken care of by all of us. I am selling it because it is too beautiful to sit and not be worn. I love that it is stamped by the maker underneath the clasp and that there is also a stamp on the upper portion near the clasp with a clearly marked date of 1910 which makes this gorgeous gold bracelet, with all its rubies, sapphires, and peridots, a stunning bracelet for everyday wear as well as evening wear. Perhaps it survived, along with one lucky passenger on that fateful voyage on the Titanic... to New York City!
