7.44 ct Opal Pendant 18k/14k Gold
This is a custom never worn Ethiopian Opal pendant. I am a collector of opal and this is the first piece I had set. The opal is one of mine and is 7.44 Ct pear cut Ethiopian Opal. The setting was created with an 18k gold bezel and a 14k gold back and bail. The 18k gold was utilized to form the bezel as it is softer and more pliable to work around the opal. The setting is bold, but simple and let's the opal do the talking.
Pictures are in incondescent and natural sunlight. The total piece weighs 4.32 grams
