This is a Natural 1.42ct (UnTreated) SI Round Cut Purple Tanzanite Gemstone. Item #1352. Tanzanite's are Naturally heated by the earth but the outcome doesn't always give the best outcome when it comes to colors.  To help with changing the natural colors to a beautiful highly acceptable color, many gemstones are placed under high heated pressure. This process helps to increase the colors in the stone. Gemstones that are not heated are harder to come by which makes them a rare find. This stone is just that. Besides being cut once dug out of a cave, nothing more has been done to this gemstone, making it an even more rare than the stone already is.
