Unique, simple, sparkly 0.57ct (over 1cttw) oval diamond ring

Unique, simple, sparkly 0.57ct (over 1cttw) oval diamond ring

$2,000.00
Est. Retail Value: $3,200.00

The center 0.57 diamond is half-bezel set into 14k white gold, while the four accent diamonds as estimated around 0.125-0.165ct apiece and are in full-bezel settings.

I love an oval-cut center because the vertical measure of the diamond makes it look bigger than it actually is, and this is a really high-quality stone.

This ring is fantastic for the girl-next-door or tomboy, because the bezel settings are very secure!  It's a very simple ring, but it's incredibly sparkly, and the facets from all five stones refract light like crazy.  I've never seen another ring like it, so if your chosen person doesn't like the halo-style rings that 80% of her friends have, this may be great for her!

There have actually been three appraisals on this ring - one last month from another jewelry sale site that graded the center stone only, the one I have attached as a photo from 2017, and one from 2008 that was included when I bought it second-hand.  All were graded as mounted.  I will include the 2008 and 2017 appraisals with the ring.  The differences are enumerated below.

Center diamond has thus been described three times as the following.  2019 - .54ct, F-G, VS1-VS2.  2017 - 0.57ct, G, VS2.  2008 - 0.57ct, E-F, SI1.

Side diamonds have been described two times as the following.  2017 - Four stones totaling 0.50ct, G-H, VS1-VS2.  2008 - Four stones totaling 0.66ct, F-G, SI1-SI2.  Grading stones as mounted makes it difficult to get a true weight, and that likely explains the difference in estimations.

Cost to replace has been described two times as the following.  2017 - $3200.  2008 - $4260.  I do not know why there's a $1000 difference, but either way, you're getting a deal!

No bad karma here!  I lost my original engagement ring, and while looking for replacements, I fell in love with this one.  I'm quite clumsy - my original ring had a four-prong setting, and I knocked the diamond out twice! - so having the nice bezel settings was a huge plus for me.  Unfortunately I've ended up having a skin allergy to the alloys in 14k white gold, and have had to upgrade to platinum.
