I was engaged and everything seemed fine, a few months away from our wedding.  I was sitting at our place waiting for my fiance to come back.  She had told me that morning that she was going from work straight to her parent's house, because she had to go with her mother and her sister in law to a bridesmaid dress fitting for that sister in law.  I was under the impression that she would spend the night there, then come back the next day, because we were supposed to go to a 4th of July party together that day. 

As I sat there waiting for her to come back the next day, I got a Facebook notification telling me that she changed her relationship status and her profile picture.  I was obviously confused, so I tried to get in touch with her.  Once she finally called me back, she would not explain what happened, why she did it, etc., and refused to discuss it with me. 

Eventually, a few days later, her mother basically forced her to talk to me on the phone.  She still would not discuss it at all, refused to see me, wouldn't explain anything, and ended the call by telling me that she "never wanted to see or hear from me again"...

As it turns out, shortly after this confusing break up, she started publicly dating someone that she works with.  She had gotten a new job, which she started in late May, and decided on the 4th of July that this guy was worth doing what she did to me, in the way that she did it.  Yes, after knowing him for approximately one month, she threw me out like a piece of garbage in order to be with him.  Luckily for me, once I found that out, it made me realize that she really was as awful as everyone else was telling me (and I ignored or defended her), and she is an absolute scumbag for handling the situation in the way that she did.  

I am hoping that I can sell the ring on here, because the only other plausible option is to go on a quest to see the ring destroyed in a volcano in order to rid the world of the evil power that it is associated with.
