I originally got the center diamond as  a solitaire when my husband proposed but I added the rubies later on because red is my favorite color. I always wanted a ring with rubies but at the jewelry stores I could only find rubies that were too small or opaque, and the concetration of color was more of a medium red or pinkish red. Also, the rubies always seemed to be paired with yellowish diamonds with bad clarity.

This ring is unique because I hand picked the rubies, of a higher grade color and clarity than the ones often seen at most jewelry stores, and I paired them with a higher grade diamond than usually found. The unembellished setting was chosen with the intent to provide the most light and showcase the three quality stones with no competition or distractions. The result of many years of searching and researching was this elegant ring, showing off quality gemstones that complement each other.
