After six years of dating my best friend I finally popped the question next to the Trevi Fountain in Rome, she said yes and we had a wonderful trip throughout Italy, stopping at Capri, Venice, Verona, and Florence before returning home. A few months later we called off the wedding for a variety of reasons. The ring was lightly worn throughout that period but has remained in a case other than for routine inspections and cleanings.

Since the proposal and transition to an I Don't, we've remained friends and hope that the ring we picked out together finds a great home where it can bring joy to a great relationship.
