Engagement and band set, hammered gold with round diamond
This is a wedding band and engagement ring set that are attached together. Original appraisal is available from July 16, 2013. It is in very good condition.
The set is handmade by a local artist in Bloomington, Indiana and was purchased from Argentum Jewelry.
Appraisal description: white gold wedding set, designed and handmade by Lisa Perantoni. The rings are 14k white gold and are a finger size 6, the engagement ring weighs 5.3 grams and the wedding band weighs 3.2 grams. The engagement ring is bezel set with a .25ct round old mine cut diamond that has a Color Grade range H to I (nearly colorless range), and a Clarity Grade of SI-I (slightly included 1). The wedding set has a hand carved burnish finish and both rings have a European shank. The engagement ring towers from 2 mm where it meets the bezel to 4 mm at the back of the shank, the wedding band is 2 mm wide all the way around.
When I was engaged at the young age of 23, I picked out this ring for myself and loved the simplicity, the hammered look, and the round cut. Unfortunately, by 2018 I was divorced. I've held onto it thinking my kids may want it, but I don't think that matters much. I actually need to sell it to go back to court with their dad for child support. Very romantic indeed!
