It is a lab grown diamond, but under a microscope it is a real diamond and no one will ever know by looking at it or even inspecting it. The only person who will know it is you since you will have its IGI diamond report that confirms its origin. Remember, lab diamonds ARE real diamonds-- they were just created in a laboratory rather than mined out of the earth. This has two benefits: the first is that the diamond is 40-60% cheaper for the same exact "natural" diamond, and secondly, you know that your diamond ring was not part of some massive industrial mining project that harms the environment and endangers working class people who have to toil in terrible conditions to extract those diamonds from mines. I consider it win/win. I paid about $3,300 for this ring online and I have no doubt that if it were an identical "natural" grown diamond at the mall it would have cost me well over double that. It really is a great ring for the price, especially now that I want to part with it.
