.52 VS2 Marquise .72ctw, G color engagement ring
Lovely more than half carat center stone of excellent clarity, VS2, excellent near colorless (G) color, with .20 channel set diamonds on either side. Beautiful setting in a heavy, 14K yellow gold ring. Jeweler's appraisal in 1996 at $2,700, when gold was around $300, now around 1,900 an ounce. Very nice QUALITY diamond ring for a great price. Six prong settting, very secure.
