GIA certified (image attached) and GAL appraised (image attached) 1.89 CT Lady's Round Brilliant Cut Diamond Engagement Ring. Pure platinum band with 6 accent diamonds, 3 on each side of the main stone. This is a 1940's engagement ring, made in a classic European yet modern style. The cut captures the light in a most amazing way! This gorgeous diamond is set in a platinum band held by 4 platinum prongs to allow full brilliance to shine through. 6 accent diamonds add additional reflection and beauty. Certified Round Brilliant diamond: 1.89 carats, 8.26 - 8.35 x 4.57mm, Color: I, Clarity VS1, Cut: Good. GAL has verified the cut far exceeds "good" but GIA grades strictly based on "modern" diamond cut standards (vs. classic European). This was originally purchased in the 1940's in New York City. I bought it from the grandson of the original owner.
