The ongoing story of Aunt Rose's ring

The center stone has been passed down for generations and was the diamond in a wedding ring set that a young Jewish man inherited when his parents perished in Europe.
He immigrated to the United States and fell in love with a Catholic girl, Rose. They married and had a wonderful life together with the exception that Rose was unable to have children.


Rose willed her ring to her only niece in hopes that she too would one day meet someone wonderful, marry and have many children. The niece remained a spinster.
