Second Life Cheating Ends In Real Life Divorce
This week a huge divorce made the international news. And it had nothing to do with the continuing fuss surrounding Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s marital meltdown. This time, the drama unfolded online through the mega virtual community site, Second Life.
UK couple Ann Taylor and Dave Pollard met on Second Life through a chat room and immediately hit it off online. Though their avatar characters, Dave Barmy and Laura Skye, look nothing like their real-world selves, they soon fell in love and married. First at a bricks-and-mortar registry office and later in a dreamy Second Life marriage. The two moved in together; everything seemed storybook perfect.
But Taylor became suspicious that Dave was cheating. So she hired virtual sleuth, Markie MacDonald, who caught Dave Barmy/Pollard in the act with a virtual call girl. While Dave apologized to his on- and off-line wives, their marriage began to fall apart. Just two months later, Ann found Dave cuddling with an American woman a few thousand miles away. The marriage was over.
Ann has already found a new man in another mega online gaming community World-Of-Warcraft. As for Dave, he’s virtually hitched to the American woman he met on Second Life. (Ann, if you’re reading I Do Now I Don’t is a great place to sell your wedding and engagement rings.) Click here to read more about this strange but true story.
Whether you found the love of your life on Second Life or in real life, I Do Now I Don’t has a diamond engagement ring that will sweep her off her digital and very real feet:

Free Wedding Dresses For Military Brides-To-Be
For brides who have fiancés serving in the military overseas, Azteca Wedding Plaza in Arizona had given some comfort to brides-to-be planning their weddings back home. The company had announced a Brides Across America wedding gown giveaway campaign, which donates wedding dresses to wives of soldiers in the military. Some of the brides have also served in Afghanistan and Iraq, and even a few brides are currently serving. The first 41 women who responded to the giveaway received a free dress with sizes ranging from 2 to 22.
Traditionally, it is superstitious for the groom to see the bride in her dress before the big day, but there are always exceptions and this is one of them. One happy bride-to-be took a picture of her new dress and sent it to her fiancé in Iraq and he wrote back “it’s the one.” The giveaway was a great way to help brides on a budget while waiting for their fiancés to return home from overseas. Click here for more details on this great story.
Before your fiancee is ready to try on the dress, she’ll needs the perfect diamond ring. Here’s one that she’ll adore:
